OUR MISSION & VISION
The Triangle CMDA chapter serves the greater Triangle Area of Central North Carolina including Duke, UNC and Campbell. We are driven by a desire to see Christians in all areas of healthcare, including training, be better connected, supported and encouraged as they live out their faith in the clinic and on campus. We have student groups across a variety of healthcare professions including an undergrad group at UNC. We are also solidifying our Dental Ministry outreach, our local service plan and are continually working through Campbell on the international field. We also have had meetings in other local hospital and clinic settings.

Student Ministry
Our student ministries are active and most of them meet once a week or more. We have strong student leadership and are continually looking to connect in other fields of medical training. Programs include speaker events, home meals with faculty, Bible studies and mentoring.
At UNC we have medical, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy and undergraduate groups.
At Duke, we have a med school group and are trying to get back into the PA school.
The Campbell group is a cooperative group that has students from medical, pharmacy, PA and public health.

Giving
Today's culture is drifting away quickly from its Judeo-Christian roots. This is perhaps even more true in some areas of medicine. Our ministries are designed to help the young trainee remain faithful to the Lord and to a Biblical worldview, and to help the seasoned professional to pursue holiness as they serve through medicine. We don't make anything, sell anything or charge for most of what we do, so we are dependent on the generosity of those who support us to keep growing. We have seen great growth recently but there is so much more to do. So, in considering giving, ask yourself whether having a Christian healthcare professional is something you desire. Do you want someone who is seeking their own good, their own glory, or someone who relies on the Lord for skill and wisdom, giving Him all the glory
We would love to hear from you.

Triangle CMDA Ministry Assistant
Kathryn LaCorte
Hey yall!
My name is Kathryn but a lot of people call me Katy. I’m originally from Louisiana and have found myself living in North Carolina in order to pursue my Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling. I also teach piano lessons on the side and love the connection with my students! My husband and I just celebrated our first-year wedding anniversary and we are settled in nicely with our two dogs and two cats. Some of my favorite hobbies include crochet, piano, DIY projects, being active, or just anything including people I love. I am excited to join the CMDA family and look forward to all God is going to do for his kingdom through us!
