TRANSFORMING LIVES BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL THROUGH MEDICINE
We exist to grown and encourage one another as we live out our lives as Christian Healthcare Professionals. We meet monthly to foster community between the local Family Medicine residents and local healthcare professionals in practice. We also meet twice each semester in a combined meeting with the students of the Baylor University Christian Pre-Health Fellowship to intentionally build into one another across generations.

Baylor University, Waco, TX: collaboration with Christian Pre-Health Fellowship
Meetings & Activities
Our local group meets on 2nd Tuesdays in homes or at The Venue at Woodway First Baptist. Twice per semester we substitute a joint meeting with Baylor Christian Pre-Health Fellowship on the Baylor Campus - these are on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm.
Student Ministry
We gather twice each semester in a combined meet-up on the Baylor Campus with Christian Pre-Health Fellowship to share a meal, build relationships and provide mentorship for pre-health college students and encourage them in their faith journey as they pursue healthcare as a career. They are always invited to join the local chapter in our monthly meetings in addition.
Where We Serve
Members are currently serving local underserved populations vocationally as well as involvement in training for the Saline Process in Spanish in Central America, teaching at the CMDE conference, and serving with Medical Education International. In addition, we host local healthcare professionals who serve in long-term mission settings to encourage and broaden our understanding of Kingdom work through healthcare.

Giving
Donations to the Waco CMDA chapter directly fund our efforts at outreach locally as well as our meetings/meals with the Baylor Christian Pre-Health Fellowship. We plan to provide scholarships for students to attend CMDA and missions-related (GMHC) conferences.
