TRANSFORMING LIVES BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL THROUGH MEDICINE
Christian Medical & Dental Associations of Atlanta (CMDA Atlanta) exists to glorify God by motivating, educating and equipping Christian healthcare professionals and students in order to transform lives with the gospel.
CMDA Atlanta's vision is to strengthen and equip doctors, PA's, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, students, and other healthcare professionals with the wisdom and compassion of Christ as they transform their professional fields through holistic care. Through this network of Christ-centered, compassionate caregivers, people receive the latest medical treatment as well as the transformative power of the gospel.

Meetings & Activities
We host a monthly provider night out and quarterly student gatherings. Residents and fellows are invited to all gatherings along with some that are just for them. The CMDA Council meets quarterly. We also lead three medical mission trip each year to El Salvador in March, the Dominican Republic in June and Honduras in August. Three Saturdays and two Wednesdays each month we serve refugees in Clarkston, GA.
We have Bible studies on campuses and bring speakers in to discuss the intersection of their faith and the medical career. We host dinners for students at doctors homes and cross-campus social gatherings quarterly.
Our focus
CMDA Atlanta is focused on growing the Christian community among healthcare providers. A large part of this is the development of the Christian student community at seven different campuses. We also lead 3 medical mission trips each year to central America and the Caribbean. We offer scholarships to as many students as we can to give them a taste of serving God's people abroad. We also provide a free medical clinic to serve refugees three Saturdays each month in Clarkston, GA, the most diverse square mile in America. We provide exams, labs and prescriptions at no cost to the refugees. This is a great opportunity for students to work side by side with doctors serving the least, the last and the lost.
We deploy, both globally and locally, medical and dental teams to help reach underserved communities, providing both needed and vital healthcare coupled with generously offering the transformational power and love of the gospel to the least, the last and the lost.
Your financial support will help grow our student ministries and hopefully their involvement as healthcare professionals. The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few. We strive to develop more laborers for Christ.
We would love to hear from you.
